Blender: LDraw Importer

A plugin written in Python for Blender. Created with as learning goal, teaching me the fundamentels of Python and the Blender Python Module.

Blender is a free and open source 3D animation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.

The plugin is capable of importing 3D models stored in the LDraw File Format into Blender. LDraw also maintains a Lego parts library.

LDraw™ is an open standard for LEGO CAD programs that allow the user to create virtual LEGO models and scenes.
